I find the hardest thing for me when dieting is getting enough nutrition. Smaller portions work, but I’m left hungry and less food= less nutrition. I use nutritional supplements now and eat healthy, full meals.I got started at ryansnutrition com and have my appetite under control.

This guy’s been on the 5 bite diet so long, he doesn’t even know what he’s saying anymore. Maybe he needs to cut out the sugar and eat more proteins and fats for healthy brain function…

You people are all stupid his name is Dr. Alwin Lewis he’s actually my doctor. This really works and makes you feel great and lose weight I lost 30 pounds in 3 weeks and anyone could do it, if you are trying it don’t listen to people’s discouraging comments just stick to it! (most of the people complaining about it are overweight and can’t imagine having the will power to pull through with it) Good luck!

Id try to fit a whole sandwich in my mouth and count it as one bite then eat 4 more sandwiches.

also important to note you have to burn about 3660 kcal a day to lose a 1 lb.
the idea that this man lost 3lbs in one day as he said is ridiculous, even in ketosis you aren’t burning up 9,000+ kcal of fat.
trust me. i’ve fasted 30 days & i still didn’t lose more than 30 lbs & fasting doesn’t slow down your metabolism when you stick to it consecutively (longer than 3 days to allow your body to produce enough ketones). if humans lost weight this quickly we’d have became extinct a long time ago.

two weeks would be OK but for someone with an eating disorder to do it? seriously? the “control” of this diet would control the person. you can induce anorexia nervosa by eating less, there’s been studies with men restricting to 1000 kcal a day gradually become more self conscious about their weight and actually think they are too big after losing weight despite being “better” before. fasting/eating little can be addicting, there are plenty of anoretics that eat about 400 kcal or 560 like him.

  • FemaleBB:

They sound like 2 eating disordered people!

  • VivaLaDecadence:

‘sugar is all you need to survive’
BS. All you need is fat and protein, neither of which are not made up of of sugar/carbs.

    20 pounds in 2 weeks?
Flab. Lots and lots of flab.

  • horsegaldressage:

    THis is ridiculous

  • fruitjuicyy:

He uses a lot of hand motions when he speaks, he’s legit.

  • thesweetcatastrophe:

The whole point is that you’re reducing the amount of food you need to be full, because you’re stomach shrinks. Only living on sugar and fat though? That can’t be healthy..

  • Ceciditullio:

    testing

  • bellachimera:

I understand the portion control aspect of his system, which is great. But, he is telling people how to lose weight the wrong way. His way is not the healthy way.

  • xoqueenbri:

this guy is my hero. lost 15 pounds so far :) )

  • thelexietaylor:

    This guy is an idiot.

  • StarAzumaRats:

The five bite diet is just to show people portion control. it is not meant to be followed as a life style choice. Although, im pretty sure there are people that will try to use it as such.
he also tells you to take a multi-vitamin.

after a while youll start realizing that less food = less weight. and seeing that will reinforce the behavior. therefore lowering your food intake, and calorie count, in the process.

what hes saying makes complete sense.

  • kidrockgirlz:

wow im totes tryin thiss! i heard about it from ana

  • bummers:

“Anorexia is a mental illness … due to a chemical imbalance … ”

Not so much his fault, but seriously, it stems from an uncontrolled preoccupation with self-image that our society has gradually developed.

  • bummers:

“Everything is broken down to sugar”

What kind of crap is that?

While I agree with eating in the right proportion, the above statement is utter bull.
Americans are eating too much sugar already.

  • bummers:

“It is a Dramatic Portion Diet”

It is basically what everyone knows “F*cking Eat Lesser!!”.
Americans need to kick their habit of blaming others for their problem and learning to take responsibility of their own bad habits, in this case, their eating habits.
