@shiz1246 Did anyone say that we don’t need cholesterol? Nobody did. By the way, cholesterol is primarily synthesized from simpler substances within the liver and other organs. It’s an integral component of every cell in the body. It’s continuously synthesized in the body. So, we can’t control our body in making it itself!!! The problem is the increased levels of LDL, which is associated with the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. Whereas, HDL appear to lower the person’s risk for heart disease.

Dear Dr Fritz, how would you respond to Dr Michael F. Richman, MD, FACS, FCCP, warning about Red Yeast Rice?
Google > RYR, “Michael F. Richman, MD, FACS, FCCP”
He refers to research and states:
Do NOT add any RYR to your current medications as adverse effects may be more likely. RYR should not be substituted for statins. The active ingredients of any of the preparations currently sold in the USA are unknown.
How to know which RYR is good and which is NOT? Thank you in advance for your reply

Of course we need cholesterol… that’s why our body makes it! I can’t believe that with all the people out there with high cholesterol, you would go in the opposite direction and start worrying about “too low” cholesterol… as if that has caused any ill to people like high cholesterol does. And a vegan/low/no cholesterol diet will not cause someone’s cholesterol to drop too low, especially when theirs is already high! I can’t believe some of the stuff I’m hearing!

Poor girl looks tired. She’s probably run off her feet with all the patients flocking to her door asking for help to get off the toxic crap being shoveled at them by their doctors. I’m blown away by the info about the wild vs. farmed salmon. They feed it colorant? OMG. It’s so ridiculous. They’d gleefully sell us the stuff and tout it’s benefits all the while knowing it’s crap.

  • TheSweetPerry:

Its okay to be vegan because fruits, vegetables and nuts have enough oil in them for daily needs. If you want you can add olive or peanut oil to your diet as well. You do not need to eat chicken to get necessary fat.

@cyanideisabitterpill I’m sure she looks better than you.

@gongoozler18 Our gov works for Big Pharma and Big Agribusiness – Big Pharma only makes money if you’re sick. Thus it is important to either remove all healthy foods from the market or corrupt them through GMOs so that you will go buy more drugs and be good zombies.

  • notyranny1:

Statin drugs –> foggy brain. Could this be another part of their agenda of making the typical American stupid?

of law that natural products are not patentable the U.S, You still can’t buy red yeast rice itself. Is the FDA going to ban mushrooms and oysters next seeing that they contain statin too? What other natural foods are we going to regulate because they are not patented? Peanut butter, sunflower seeds?
    This is our government.

  • gongoozler18:

Uh oh, Pharma isn’t going to like this. Also, why the heck is red yeast rice only found in supplement form in this country? Patent issues. Yes, according to the FDA & USDA, you can regulate a natural product containing naturally occurring statins just because the synthetically-made statins patented by Pharma companies are identical to one another. The FDA even has gone so far as to ban Cholestin because it has red yeast rice extract. The ban was luckily subsequently rescinded in light light of
