A person asked me a question about the difference in bougie dimensions and what a bougie is.

I just found out my Doctor will use a 46 French Bougie. I was hoping for a smaller size but I guess that will have to do.

There is a link in my profile to a study which shows that the 32-French bougie has been the most successful in achieving desired weight loss for the VSG. I know both Drs. Joya and Alvarez in Mexico do choose to use the 32-French bougie.
