  • ursdaniel:

that ramon the superintender doesnt give a shit about the kids, anyway he’s pretty much done with this world….

  • Latrendi:

its all about money guys. Austerity measures mean less money for schools which mean slightly more expensive but much healthier food just isn’t available.

  • ItsLikeAFish:

i love Jamie! he’s amazing, creative and he’s so great for wanting to make a change, not letting him help is just plain immature

  • Pagra101:

    I just signed the petition

  • CrustyClaps:

I like what Jamie Oliver’s young 9yr old daughter had to say to him in the first episode..
something like “DAD WHY SHOULD THE SCHOOLS LET YOU IN IF ALL YOUR GUNNA DO IS MAKE THEM LOOK BAD” then Jamie’s like “I KNOW BUT IT MAKES GOOD TV”

  • CrustyClaps:

@layingthesod I don’t like how these American schools are letting kids get fat. imagine going to hospital for an important op, only to find theres rows of morbidly obese patients clogging up the waiting lists all because of selfish simple people like you who don’t care if “someone else’s kids are getting fat and eating shit”

  • CrustyClaps:

@layingthesod whats wrong with wanting higher standers for our schools?
why pay the schools to provide meals when they aren’t worth eating?
why shouldn’t food education and diet awareness be more carefully considered?

  • layingthesod:

@megullett1 Yes we should be worried about kids, YOUR own kids. Why would I care if someone elses kids are getting fat and eating shit because they are lazy. It is very simple, if you do not like the food they serve in schools, DO NOT EAT IT! Pretty simple. I make my kids lunch everyday and they eat healthy, but that is because in our house we believe in being personally responsible for what we eat and do. Not that hard.

  • megullett1:

@layingthesod Yes your right. What I wrote made no sense. But lets cut the bullshit about the goverment and what Jamie is and not doing. The point is that these childen are suffering from the ignorance of their parents and the society they live in. Shouldn’t we all be worrying about that right now. You can correct me if im wrong, but aren’t our children number one priority. This is why it is important to change the food they serve in schools and to educate them in food.

  • layingthesod:

@megullett1 What? You speak in circles and make no sense. I have no problem with anyone making a buck and I could not care less how they do it, but stop acting like this guy is some higher being. He found a loophole and is profiting from it, good fro him. The point is this guy is trying to make is what the schools feed kids and that somehow translates to a corrupt government? Are you nuts? Parents should feed kids and parents should raise kids, NOT THE GOVERNMENT.

  • megullett1:

@layingthesod so what if he is profiting, just watching one episode has opened everyones eyes. The fact is that it is your own responsibility to care about what your kids eat and to make sure that they eat a nutritional balanced diet with pleasure food ever so often. The problem that America now faces is that the whole world has seen how corrupt their schools are, imagine what other affairs in that county are like. Its time to grow up and live in the real world.

  • monkeya23:

@SSForever777 God shouldn’t have to help him.. America’s people should!

  • monkeya23:

Poor ratings my a**! Why would it be dropped in the UK aswell? Plus Aus? It’s the corrupt capatilist a** holes who put this show off air and it disgusts me to think that they are getting away with murder! Don’t you think it’s about time you Americans stood up for your kids? Do something! Jamie Oliver changed the way british kids eat because the parents actually did something! The whole nation was backing him! He goes to one city in the US and 20 parents show up to show support? Kick up a fuss!

  • khm312:

@layingthesod if u dont stand for anything you’ll fall for anything. the best way to reach the masses is through tv and radio, theres no need to be grumpy at him making his money coz at the end of the day its not about money, its about giving the people better and healthier choices in life, this is the whole point of the food revolution and if you cant see that then i can’t make you.sometimes it takes something bad to happen in order for something good to come out of it. nothing good comes easy.

  • shinypenny:

@layingthesod His restaurant business is based primarily in the UK, and they’re not watching a bunch of dumb LA administrators block Jamie Oliver. This show isn’t helping that restaurant business. Also most of his book sales are in the UK. Again, rather than being in the UK promoting them, he’s here working in schools. He’s not here for the short term financial benefits, which are practically non-existent.

  • layingthesod:

@shinypenny A book business? Did he run a publishing company? Stop he wrote a book and is profiting from that also. Open your eyes for a second and you will see exactly what this guy is doing. And you really think his restaurants are not making MORE money because of this?

  • layingthesod:

@khm312 Do i? My kids do not go to public school so why would I be mad?? The problem is you people cannot be personally responsible for themselves and more importantly their kids. It is everyone elses fault. My point really is this guy does not care about anything except his own pockets. If he did, why put it on ABC and sell advertising? He is profiting from this mess. Don’t you morons get that? Holy moly, it is like playing cards with my brothers kids dealing with you idiots….

  • khm312:

@layingthesod you sound mad coz you know this is a problem and you are faced with the truth.

  • iamronidog:

hes just trying to help them. All of those parents should pull their kids from the schools, then again that one guy thought honey came from bears.
