@GroundPhobia Makes no difference to me. I have absolutely no problem running right after.

  • GroundPhobia:

@StylexSai buttttt, if you do cardio on different days you have less time working out on your weightlifting days then if you were going to start running afterwards and you might feel worn out if you did cardio right after making you not get as good a run. Also, if you’re anything like myself, you like working out and hate “offdays” so separating cardio from weightlifting days would let you enjoy yourself working out everyday. Except if you dont feel like it.

Holla! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (just google it)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy lost tons of weight with it.

  • ajackiez:

Hi! Have you thought about intellectus diet (search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my father lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • teddnipu:

It depends on how much weight you want to lose. 30 minutes of walking 3 times a week is a good start.

When I was in my teens and 20′s I could lose fat with just intense weight training. Cardio was more of a social thing. Get on a cardio machine to chat up a lady. Now in my late 30′s I need both weights and cardio to lose fat. I eat at a calorie deficit, and maintain about 45/40/15 ratio protein/carb/fat. The calorie deficit I run, especially with the activity level I’m at, I should be phenomenal. But I am just average. On the bright side, if I didn’t work this hard, I’d be obese.

PLEASE ANSWER THIS FOR ME! my main goal in the next month and a half is to rapidly increase the size and strength of my leg muscles because ive got big muscles up top and skinny chicken legs. i also want to decrease body fat. should i run on the treadmill? or will that slow the growth of my leg muscle?

  • ClintsFitness:

@sjstrictlykings upper lower is a good routine if done right and with mnostly compound exercises, concentrate on ur strength training but maybe do 2 cardio sessions per week, id do interval training if i was u, fast and effective and not boring.

THEY ALSO TOLD ME TO EITHER DO ONE OR THE OTHER. CARDIO OR WEIGHT TRAIN. i LOVE WEIGHT TRAINING AND WOULDNT LIKE TO STOP MY CARDIO. I DO WORK UPPER BODY 2X A WEEK AND LOWER BODY 2X ALSO. ON MY DAYS OFF I LIKE DOING CARDIO. IS THAT BAD??

  • Fanisliverpool1892:

i just want to comment on your last sentence that muscle is gain through lifting and not eating. well its a bit confusing cause you are saying muscle is gain through lifting. but if you don’t eat the proper amount of protein how are you gonna gain muscle as muscle need protein to get repaired? so lets say if i am eating less and not the proper amount of protein and lift everyday and do intense lifting well will i gain muscle??? i think not cause protein is needed too. pls tell me what you think

  • BodyPerformanceTV:

@Rednx4x4 Lift first and then do cardio.

  • Rednx4x4:

I love to weight lift and i love to do all sorts of cardio. Should I lift weights before or after cardio. I am 6ft tall and weigh 225lbs with a 17% body fat percentage . I would like to lower my body fat percentage.

  • shhno:

What I do that works (for me), I workout after my first meal.. I don’t consume more than 10g of carbs before my cardio workout. I do 30-40 mins with a weight vest on the stairmaster. AFTER I eat a piece of fruit (carbs) to refuel and I do 30 mins of weights (very little rest time in between sets). I don’t work my abs often yet they show oh so nicely now =] *Remember* its all about what you put in your body that determines what will show. AND LOTS OF WATER!!!!
